Dr. Shepard is an Oregon licensed psychologist, primarily providing sexual offense-specific assessment, treatment, and supervision services. She graduated from Palo Alto University’s Clinical Psychology PhD program in 2020. She holds Oregon certifications as a Clinical Sexual Offense Therapist (CCSOT) and a Forensic Evaluator (CFE). She works full-time at the Oregon State Hospital (OSH), within the Sexual Offending Treatment Program (SOTP). She has a part-time private practice wherein she conducts psychological assessments and forensic evaluations, including sexual risk, violence risk, stalking risk, competency to stand trial, criminal responsibility and mitigation. She is an adjunct professor for Pacific University’s doctoral PsyD program and routinely presents professional trainings. She also serves as the public relations officer of the Oregon chapter for the Association for the Treatment and prevention of Sexual Abuse (OATSA). Her clinical and research interests involve sexual risk mitigation, cultural/language inclusivity, and queer, gender diverse, and kink identities.
